DHA Omega-3 Golden Eggs

Many people love to eat eggs but do not eat frequently because of high fat and cholesterol concerns.

Growing health awareness and consciousness for health nutrition have inspired us at Al Jazira Poultry Farm to produce” DHA Omega-3 Golden Eggs” which like regular eggs not only contains natural vitamins, minerals and proteins but are also rich in unsaturated fats like DHA Omega-3, Vitamin-E a natural anti-oxidant, Organic selenium known to be an essential micro nutrient.

What is DHA?

DHA-Decosahexaenoic Acid known as good fat is a long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid belonging to Omega-3 group. Our brain contains about 10% DHA. Our eyes, heart, blood vessels and even uterus contain DHA.

Why DHA, Vitamin-E and Organic Selenium?

Omega-3 and DHA cannot be produced by our body. Our changing eating habits and nature of food has decreased our required intake of DHA. Many people do not consume enough cold-water fish and food containing Omega-3due to variety of reasons. Researches have shown that Eskimos and Japanese who consume plenty of sea food have lower incidences of cardiovascular diseases. In both the groups Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) & docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) content in blood were higher.

What are the sources of DHA?

Cold-water fish like mackerel, sardines, and herring are very rich sources of Omega-3 and DHA. Some of the plant sources like Canola, Soybeans, flax, walnut contain Omega-3 but not DHA. Eggs from chicken feds on the DHA rich diet are natural and very convenient source of DHA.
